I’ve been seeing Dr. Bachra and the team at Lifetime Eyecare for years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I receive. Dr. Bachra is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She genuinely cares about her patients’ eye health and always makes me feel comfortable and confident in my treatment plan. The entire team is friendly, professional, and efficient — from booking appointments to helping choose the perfect glasses. The office is welcoming and well-organized, and I never feel rushed through my appointments. Can’t say enough about Dr. Bachra. She is very professional, thorough, and kind. We feel very lucky to have found her. Her staff are also very nice and friendly. The greet at Reception, the initial screening of all the vitals for Doctors review and finally the experience with the Doctor itself was all very professional and thorough. I felt everything that needed to be checked was done, results discussed and further action explained. Street parking should be easy to find if $3.75 per hour does not feel expensive. Else, park at the nearby Royal City Centre Mall and the clinic is just across the road. - 8/28/2025

I haven’t had an eye exam in years so I did have a bit of anxiety going in, wasn’t too sure what I was doing. I had also recently moved to this area so i’m unfamiliar with this office. But the staff was far past amazing. It was the kindness from all the staff, including the staff downstairs in the lens store. They were all so welcoming from the moment I walked in, to the very moment I left. I felt very comfortable the entire time. I won’t be going anywhere else! Edit: Reading some of the 1 star reviews that were from years ago but some were about being given the “wrong” prescription and coming back and no one offering help. I want to say that Dr. Bachra made it very clear to me that if I had issues with anything or the glasses didn’t work for me, I can always come back and figure things out from there. I am a senior & in need of stronger reading glasses. There are a lot of Eyecare facilities in New Westminster. Because of the reviews & location decided to book an appointment with Lifetime Eyecare. Everyone there was friendly, efficient & professional. Had a pleasant visit with Dr Bachra who checked my vision. She prescribed stronger reading glasses and said my regular vision was border line. That could wait. Gave me a prescription for reading glasses and to see Shawn in the eyeglass store. Met Shawn. She showed several frames. My wife who came along & Shawn picked the right frame for my new reading glasses. Glad, I choose Lifetime Eyecare. Now, looking forward to returning in 2 weeks for my new reading glasses. - 12/14/2024

Dr. Bachra is so pleasant, professional and thorough in her examinations. The staff in the eyecare centre are extremely knowledgeable in explaining what frame would best fit with your prescription, ensure that your frame fits well on the bridge of your nose and so very pleasant to deal with.
